My name is Michael Wisseman, my passion for the outdoors and hunting helped me start a successful business. In 1982 I purchased a camera and began photographing animals and nature. When I had my first trophy deer mounted by another taxidermist I was very disappointed that it did not look realistic at all. I then decided to enter taxidermy school in Ohio; upon completion in 1988 I started Arrowhead Taxidermy. We decided in 2001 to purchase a few whitetail deer for study purposes to improve my mounts. Five years later we decided to sell fresh deer urine. As the word got out about the urine, and bow hunters would come to make their purchase they began asking for other merchandise, such as hand warmers, scent wicks and broad heads. As the requests for other merchandise grew, my wife Tammy and I decided to change our business name from Arrowhead Taxidermy to Arrowhead Taxidermy & Outdoors. We started selling everything hunters would ask for when coming in for urine and grew into selling all archery equipment and firearms. We are factory direct dealers for Parker, Ten Point, Excalibur, Horton, PSE and Middleton. Our store is located in the small village of Springs, Pennsylvania.
