Chuck is a lifelong hunter, joined the NRA at age 12, worked at a sporting goods store for a summer job, and began shooting competitvely in NRA sponsored matches. His interest in archery started in his teens with a recurve Bear bow and he continued to archery hunt while attending the US Naval Academy and during a career in the military. Chuck said, "I purchased one of the first high quality compound bows in 1980 - a Jennings Shooting Star and was fortunate to take many whitetails with that setup." On hunting, he said "After resisting Africa for many years, I finally made two trips and hunted with a vertical bow exclusively during the 2nd trip. It is a wonderful place." During his career, Chuck was President of SigArms, a handgun and hunting rifle company and most recently is President at Kodabow, a crossbow manufacturer building USA made crossbow products in Pennsylvania. He and his wife live in West Chester, PA with two Labrador Retrievers and have three sons - one working in New York, one at Penn State, and his youngest just starting at the Naval Academy to pursue a military career.
